User access
Manage user access
User permissions
Granular user permissions increase data privacy across the organisation:
- Admin - Admin is the highest level of permission available. Admin users have the authority to access and edit all aspects of the organisation, including settings, assets and the management of other users and subscriptions. They can only access Deals via explicitly granted permissions.
- Manager - Managers can edit organisation settings and manage permissions of other users who aren't admin users. They can access all organisation assets and can only access Deals via explicitly granted permissions.
- Standard - Standard users do not have access to organisation settings but they have access to all organisation assets. They can only access Deals via explicitly granted permissions.
- Restricted - Restricted users do not have access to organisation settings. They can access organisation assets and Deals only when given explicit permissions.
Please note that only users with Admin and Manager permissions can manage other users' access.
Asset access
- You can also determine which assets organisation users can access.
- This can be done from the Members tab of your organisation's settings by clicking on the ACTIONS dropdown to modify the asset access of an organisation user.
Please note that Asset access only applies to users with Restricted permission. Users with any other permission can access all organisation assets.
Department access
- To streamline access and control, you can group organisation users into departments based on existing business functions.
- Add a department from the Departments dropdown in organisation settings then click ACTIONS to add a new member department.
- Once you have finished setting up your departments, add them to existing organisation users via the Users dropdown.
- Restrict asset information to departments when configuring your asset profiles. This does not apply to Admin users who can see all asset information at all times.
